Printer, Scientist, Inventor, Author, Ambassador, Patriot, Benjamin Franklin has been called "the first American". His rich and colorful life is recounted by historical re-enactor J.T. Turner.

This show is geared for 5th grade and up. Dr. Franklin discusses his life, from his humble beginnings in Boston, through his great career as a printer. Dr. Franklin also shares stories about his inventions, his experiments with electricity, and his role in American Independence. Teacher guides, reading lists, and a question and answer period are included.
